Barclays LifeSkills Intensive Intervention - Blackpool
A multi-part programme designed for groups of Year 10 students from secondary schools in Blackpool.
Sessions will take place both in-school and out of school at inspiring local venues.
What's involved?
The facilitated sessions will see students working with Barclays mentors, developing practical employability skills such as CV writing and interview techniques, whilst improving soft skills such as confidence and teamwork.
We will also have exciting inspirational speakers from the local area joining each session, offering insight into their own career journeys and local opportunities.
The result will be to build a cohort of confident and capable students, furnished with the skills and knowledge they need to successfully make the transition from education to employment.

This programme is available to students in Blackpool in Year 10.
One member of school or local council staff to be present in sessions.
