Bridge to M&G pre-apprenticeship programme
Bridge to M&G is a unique pre-apprenticeship programme run by The Talent Foundry in partnership with M&G plc and international headhunters, Odgers Berndtson.
What's involved?
Bridge to M&G offers students in Year 12 or S5/S6 bespoke training and coaching sessions, to prepare them for the apprenticeship application process with M&G plc. There will also be a fully funded residential in the summer break for the London cohort.
What teachers say
Really worthwhile for students from backgrounds that know nothing about apprenticeships. Really positive and left students with a much clearer idea about their options.
Students were fully engaged and always had positive comments to say after each session.
Excellent opportunity for our young people.
Students take part in 3 workshops hosted onsite at M&G plc offices, and 1 virtually, during which they will:
- learn directly from M&G plc colleagues
- have the opportunity to get advice from current apprentices
- join a masterclass with international headhunters Odgers Berndtson.
- benefit from small group coaching throughout the programme and during the application process
What students say
It was very useful and taught me different skills such as personal statement writing, how to approach a job description and the allowed me to identify qualities I possess which may be useful for employers.
We have received a lot of information and support, especially individual feedback. Many advised us on how to make the process less daunting. Listening to apprentices was useful as we don't usually hear about their experiences.
It gave me the opportunity to speak with people that have been through the process who can offer me insightful advice that should benefit me in the application process.
