This programme invites Year 7 - 8 students to the University of Manchester campus for the day, to gain an insight into higher education and the world of work.
What's involved?
By taking part in this programme, Year 7 and 8 students will explore the world of sustainable and responsible business in this engaging career workshop at the University of Manchester. Designed to build confidence and expand students' career aspirations, this workshop provides an exciting first look at higher education and the professional world.
Programme Highlights:
- Interactive Workshop: Led by a Talent Foundry facilitator, students will engage in hands-on activities that explore social issues and the concept of social enterprise.
- University Tour: Students will tour the campus with university ambassadors, gaining a first-hand look at university life and pathways to success.
- Engagement with Alumni: Recent graduates will join for a Q&A, offering relatable insights into university experiences and diverse career paths.
- Skill Development: Through collaborative discussions and activities, students will build teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
