It’s a technology driven world, so the demand for skilled professionals in the IT, computing, and digital sectors is accelerating.

Recognising this need, and working with Dell Technologies, here at The Talent Foundry we have launched an exciting opportunity - Bridge to Tech - for students in Year 12, 13, or Further Education (FE) colleges.

This programme not only equips students with a solid foundation in various tech-related topics but also provides essential employability skills, opening doors to a successful career in the tech industry.

Bridge to Tech is a gateway for students aspiring to make a mark in the world of IT, computing, or the broader tech and digital sectors, spotlighting them by also preparing them for the CompTIA ITF+ certification.

This qualification is industry-recognised and also funded by Dell, giving students a unique opportunity to gain a valuable accreditation and launch their careers with confidence.

Whether students are planning to enter the workforce, pursue an apprenticeship, or higher education, this programme ensures that their CVs shine brightly with the acquired skills and certification.

Over 12 weeks, students join a series of virtual sessions, each lasting up to 2 hours, covering a spectrum of tech-related topics, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry.

Students have direct connection with Dell gurus who guide them through the virtual sessions, providing valuable insights, expertise, and real-world perspectives.

We're working with UA92 who are delivering the technical skills sessions, with our inspiring TTF facilitators leading students to develop their employability skills.

Students will also work together to study for the CompTIA ITF+ certification exam, with expert mentors readily available to support them during this process.

Upon successful completion, students are awarded a qualification equivalent to a Level 3, serving as an impressive launch pad into the tech industry and employers and apprenticeships.
