12th February 2025 National Apprenticeship Week with ABM

We know that apprenticeships can open doors - especially for young people who may not have considered this route before.
For the past six years we've partnered with ABM UK to deliver the Junior Engineering Engagement Programme (JEEP), to highlight apprenticeship pathways, and encourage young people to think big about STEM careers.
Since 2019, the JEEP has reached over 700 students, and this year, we're delighted to announce a brand new apprenticeship-focused offering for schools.
FacilitateNow! is an exciting initiative introducing students to careers in facilities management, engineering, and apprenticeships through on-site workshops at ABM UK, Corn Exchange Manchester, The Mander Centre and the London Transport Museum.
Building on the success of the JEEP, Facilitate Now! will continue to inspire underserved young people by:
- Raising awareness of apprenticeships as a pathway to STEM careers
- Developing essential skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership
- Providing real-world experiences through workshops and workplace visits
Last year, 79% of JEEP students said they now understand apprenticeships better, and 67% said they’d consider one - proving just how powerful industry-led programmes can be.
We’re excited to see even more students discover their potential and take their first steps towards rewarding careers. Huge thanks to ABM UK for their continued commitment to inspiring the next generation of talent.
