7th May 2024 Powering Transformation on campus with Dell volunteers

Our Dell Technologies programme, Powering Transformation, is making a difference to young lives across university campuses this summer.
And this impact is only possible because of the support from our industry volunteers from Dell.
Powering Transformation offers Year 7 and 8 students the chance to immerse themselves into learning at a university campus and creatively tackle local social issues using Dell technology.
Thanks to the amazing support of Dell volunteers, students gain a glimpse into the world of work and develop essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving and speaking and listening.
The Dell team's dedication is helping shape the next generation of tech enthusiasts, and supporting Dell's moonshot goal of 75% of their team members participating in giving or volunteerism in their communities by 2030.
We've recently visited the University of Bath, University of Bedfordshire and Imperial College London.
One student told us:
I would never have got this experience anywhere else.
And teachers have said:
Dell representatives really impacted the students, and their discussions with students made a big difference.
The students loved the interaction with the volunteers—it was the highlight of the day.
A special thank you to volunteers Ihab Elghazzawi, Daniel Merritt, Imogen Ransom, Geraint Openshaw and Robert Marks for their fantastic support.
Interested in joining us?
We'll be at Edge Hill University, University of Manchester, University of Dundee, University of Warwick, University of Essex, and Roehampton University between now and July.
By joining our volunteering opportunities, you’ll be supporting Dell’s moonshot goals to improve 1 billion lives through digital inclusion by 2030.
