Powering futures
Our 11-year partnership with Dell Technologies has been shortlisted in the Corporate Engagement Awards for ‘Most effective long-term commitment’ and the Charity Times Award for ‘Corporate National Partnership Champion’.
Together we have been working to reduce digital exclusion, encourage young women into tech and connect young people to Dell employees who volunteer across our Future Workforce programmes.
Since we started in 2014, we’ve helped over 50,000 young people think big about their futures.
Collaboration
Our Rise initiative, championed by ICAEW is our final partnership nomination, making the shortlist in the Corporate Engagement Awards for ‘Most innovative collaboration’ and ‘Corporate Partnership of the Year’ in the Third Sector Charity Awards.
Rise helps young people practice workplace scenarios to build essential skills, while being supported by volunteers working in accountancy and professional services firms.
Teamwork
Finally, we are proud that our small, ambitious and inquisitive team have been shortlisted as Charity of the Year at the Charity Times Awards.
Jenni Anderson, Chief Executive, said:
These nominations are testament to our team, facilitators, partners and volunteers who are making a difference to young people every day in schools. We can’t improve social mobility on our own, it must be done in partnership - all of us bringing our passion, skills and strengths to reduce inequalities in education and work.
We are nominated alongside some incredible, inspiring organisations who are also transforming lives, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with them in September.
