M&G plc Roddy Thomson Memorial Bursary
The Roddy Thomson Memorial Bursary Fund will provide long-term financial support to students at Monmouth Comprehensive.
The bursary is available for Year 13 students who wish to pursue a career in finance or business and may need financial support to participate in further or higher education.
What's involved?
In recognition of Roddy Thomson's commitment to bringing out the best in those around him, his family are working with M&G plc and The Talent Foundry to offer a bursary in Roddy's name.
Roddy was Chief Operating Officer at M&G plc, and before that at Prudential UK and Europe. Prior to M&G, he was managing director at OpenReach. He was also a director at Ernst & Young and worked at Accenture earlier in his career.
Roddy grew up in Monmouthshire and was Head Boy at Monmouth Comprehensive School and left a lasting impression.
